Terms of Service
The terms that govern your access to and use of the CheckInIQ platform and website.
Effective date: June 28, 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and SoHo Integration, LLC (“CheckInIQ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and govern your access to and use of the CheckInIQ visitor management platform, the checkiniq.com website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization, and “you” refers to that organization.
2. The Service
CheckInIQ is a multi-tenant, subscription-based platform that lets organizations register visitors, record check-ins and check-outs, manage visitor records, run reports, and operate self-service kiosk and QR check-in. We may update, improve, or modify the Service over time. Customers receive the current version of the hosted Service automatically.
3. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us promptly at support@checkiniq.com of any unauthorized use. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Upload or collect information you do not have the right to collect or share.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
- Reverse engineer, resell, or sublicense the Service except as expressly permitted.
- Use the Service to send spam or to store or transmit malicious code.
5. Customer data and your responsibilities
“Customer Data” means the data you and your visitors enter into or generate through the Service, including visitor records. As between you and CheckInIQ, you own your Customer Data. You grant us the rights necessary to host, process, and transmit Customer Data to provide the Service.
You are the controller of the visitor information you collect. You are responsible for: (a) having a lawful basis to collect and use that information; (b) providing any privacy notices and obtaining any consents required by law, including for sensitive categories of information you choose to collect; and (c) configuring the Service appropriately for your needs. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Subscriptions, trials, and billing
- Plans. The Service is offered on subscription plans described at the time of sign-up. Fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe.
- Free trial. New accounts may include a free trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin and the applicable fees will be charged.
- Renewals. Subscriptions renew automatically for successive periods unless cancelled before the end of the current period.
- Past due. If a payment fails, we may provide a grace period and, if the balance remains unpaid, suspend or terminate access to the Service. Accounts invoiced outside Stripe are handled under their separate billing arrangement.
- Cancellation. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
- Changes. We may change pricing on prospective renewal terms with reasonable notice.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding Customer Data), is owned by CheckInIQ and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Service during your subscription. We welcome feedback and may use it without obligation to you.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers (for example, hosting, payment processing, email, and analytics). Your use of the Service may be subject to those providers’ terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CheckInIQ and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CheckInIQ and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your Customer Data, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. We will make Customer Data available for export for a reasonable period after termination, after which we may delete it in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for any dispute not subject to arbitration or small-claims resolution.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
